Travis Scott Issues Statement About Fan Injured After Falling From Balcony

During his show at Terminal 5, Travis Scott addressed a fan who was hanging from the balcony railing. “I see you, but are you gon’ do it,” Travis asked him. “They gon’ catch you; don’t be scared!” That fan fell and appeared to be caught by the crowd below. Later in the show, a different fan was injured after falling from the balcony on the third level and was subsequently hospitalized, a spokesperson for Scott confirmed. Scott reportedly stopped the show so the injured fan could receive medical attention. His representative has now released a statement about the incident.

“The safety of everyone is held in the highest regard and we are currently conducting an internal investigation to ensure that this does not happen again,” the statement reads. “We are deeply concerned about the guest who was injured and intend to offer him our support.” Scott’s team have been in contact with the fan to stay up-to-date on his condition, his representative told Pitchfork. They also revealed that an investigation is being conducted to determine if the fan jumped or was pushed off the balcony.
