Troy Ave Indicted on Attempted Murder Charge

Rapper Troy Ave, whose real name is Roland Collins, has been formally indicted on one charge of attempted murder and two felony weapons charges, according to online court records. In May, four people were injured and one killed in a deadly shooting at T.I.’s Irving Plaza concert in New York. One was Troy Ave, who was shot in the leg and subsequently arrested in connection to the shooting. The person killed in the shooting was Ronald McPhatter—Troy Ave’s bodyguard. The New York Post reports that Troy Ave is being held without bail and is due back in court on June 22.
