Unknown Mortal Orchestra Cover Grateful Dead’s “Shakedown Street” in New Video: Watch
Earlier this year, the National’s Aaron and Bryce Dessner released their long-promised, enormous Grateful Dead tribute album Day of the Dead. Featured on the massive celebration was Unknown Mortal Orchestra’s version of “Shakedown Street”—a song they performed on “Conan.” Now, UMO’s Dead cover has its own music video directed by the Business Company. The visual first takes place in a surreal kingdom before three people in shiny black outfits walk city streets. It’s very bright and pretty strange. Watch it below.
