Vic Mensa Freestyles on Skrillex’s "OWSLA Radio" Show

Last year, Vic Mensa and Skrillex teamed up for “No Chill.” Now, they’ve come together once again. Vic appeared on Skrillex’s Beats 1 show “OWSLA Radio” to spit a freestyle over Louis the Child’s “From Here.” Skrillex was so impressed with the performance that he said, “I know a lot of artists, but very few in the world could come in, in any situation like this, and do what you just did.” Listen to Vic’s freestyle above.

Vic’s verse comes from tomorrow’s episode of “OWSLA Radio,” which airs at noon. It will feature an extended version of the freestyle.

“From Here” appeared on OWSLA recent label compilation Worldwide Broadcast.

Vic Mensa was one of the many artists who appeared at Kanye West’s The Life of Pablo Madison Square Garden event last night. During the event, Kanye played a new, currently-untitled song by Vic.
