Watch Ariel Pink and Weyes Blood’s Wacky, Medieval “Tears on Fire” Video

Ariel Rosenberg (aka Ariel Pink) and Natalie Mering (aka Weyes Blood) have shared a new video for “Tears on Fire,” from their collaborative Myths 002 EP (out via Mexican Summer). The goofy, lo-fi clip was directed by Charlotte Linden Ercoli Coe. It features Ariel posing in medieval gear, Mering singing in front of flames, and lots of swords. Watch the video below.

Ariel and Mering’s new video is presented by the Marfa Myths Artist Residency, in which they participated in 2016. (Their Myths 002 EP was the result of the collaboration.) This year’s Residency features Dungen’s Gustav Ejstes and Reine Fiske working with Woods’ Jeremy Earl and Jarvis Taveniere. Marfa Myths takes place March 9-12. Mering will perform new music with Perfume Genius at the festival. Find all of her upcoming tour dates here.
