Watch “Broad City”’s Abbi and Ilana Perform Wayne’s World Live
Yesterday, “Broad City”’s Abbi Jacobson and Ilana Glazer led a live reading of the Wayne’s World screenplay in honor of the film’s 25th anniversary. It happened during the comedy and music festival Colossal Clusterfest in San Francisco. They played Garth and Wayne, respectively, and were joined by a cast that included Tia Carrere (as Cassandra), Tig Notaro (as Rob Lowe’s character), Ron Funches, John Michael Higgins, Moshe Kasher, Janet Varney, and Chris Gethard. The Killer Queens (an all-women Queen tribute band) provided the live soundtrack. Watch some footage from the event below.
