Before Nirvana, before Foo Fighters, Dave Grohl was in the Northern Virginia-based hardcore punk band Scream. While Grohl predominately played drums for the outfit, he sang lead vocals on one song, “Gods Look Down,” from 1989. Now, in a newly-released outtake from the Foo Fighters HBO series “Sonic Highways,” Grohl revisits an alternate take of the song alongside producer Barrett Jones. “I sound like a girl,” Grohl comments at one point while listening. “I don’t think my balls had dropped yet.” Watch the clip below.
