Watch Wild Beasts’ “Big Cat” Video

Back in May, Wild Beasts announced a new album called Boy King. It’s out August 5 via Domino. Now, they’ve shared a new video for the album’s opener, “Big Cat.” Directed by Pablo Maestres, the video features CCTV cameras, talking advertisements, and wolves. “Big Cat” follows the video for the lead single, “Get My Bang.” “If ‘Get My Bang’ was a song of the id then ‘Big Cat’ is the ego,” Wild Beasts’ Hayden Thorpe said in a press release. “It marked a breakthrough in the writing process for the album, defining the swagger and attitude that would come to shape Boy King. He is all powerful, but at what price?” Watch the video below.

Wild Beasts have also announced an album release show in New York. It happens August 10 at Baby’s All Right.
