Watch Father John Misty Make Faces in “SNL” Promos

Father John Misty is scheduled to appear on “Saturday Night Live” as the musical guest this Saturday, March 4. The episode is hosted by Hidden Figures’ Octavia Spencer. In new promos for the episode, he makes several different faces as Kenan Thompson jokes about not seeing Hidden Figures. Watch it go down below.

Misty will release his next record Pure Comedy on April 7 (via Sub Pop/Bella Union). He’s shared the title track, “Two Wildly Different Perspectives,” and “Ballad of the Dying Man,” along with a short film, and a long essay on the album. Earlier this week, he announced a North American tour in support of the album. He will also play some stops in Europe.
