Watch Haim Surprise Their High School Teacher in New Video
The California Lottery currently has a campaign called Back to the Start, which celebrates the state’s educators. Haim have now participated in the series by going back to their high school to #ThankATeacher. In a series of videos, they visit their Los Angeles high school to surprise their history teacher, Mr. Freedman. Watch the clips, and see a note from the Haim sisters, below.
Haim are currently at work on their sophomore LP. As of June, they said they had 13 songs written for the record, which they had hoped would be ready for a fall 2016 release. In July, they announced that they had to cancel a series of European tour dates because they’d reached a “critical point” in the recording of the album.
