Watch Phoenix Perform “J-Boy” on “Fallon”
Phoenix were the musical guests on last night’s episode of “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon.” Standing on a glowing, colorful stage, the band performed their lead-off single from Ti Amo. Watch them play “J-Boy” below. Ti Amo is out June 9 via Loyaute/Glassnote. The band said in a statement that the follow-up to 2013’s Bankrupt! is meant to evoke “a fantasized version of Italy: a lost paradise made of eternal Roman summers (hyper-light, hyper-clarity, pistachio gelato), jukeboxes on the beach, Monica Vitti and Marcello Mastroianni, fearless desire and antique marble statues.”
