Watch Ryan Adams Record a New Single Straight to Vinyl

Ryan Adams took to Instagram last night to document the recording of a new single. Using a special all-in-one recording booth at Electric Lady Studios (similar to the one found at Jack White’s Third Man Records), Adams recorded a new version of “Do You Still Love Me?” and pressed it directly to vinyl. “Gonna make some more and hide them in the box,” a caption reads. “Lemme know if you find one.” In subsequent posts, Adams explains that the singles will be randomly scattered in some of his box sets. Watch the recording process and a snippet of the result below. Earlier this month, Adams announced a new album, Prisoner.
