Watch RZA Perform Original Score for Opening Ceremony 2017 Fashion Show

On Friday night, RZA made an appearance at Opening Ceremony’s Fall 2017 show at MADE LA—the two day fashion and music event that was held in Los Angeles this weekend. RZA composed an original score for the show entitled “A Modern Western,” whose script was written by Jonah Hill. During the event, runway models broke out into a martial arts duel. The performance featured Zoë Bell, a stuntwoman notably known for doing Uma Thurman’s stunt work in Kill Bill. RZA also took the stage to perform what appears to be a new song. Watch the footage below. Other artists who appeared at MADE include Wiz Khalifa, Snoop Dogg, and more.

RZA recently helped SZA announce the release date for her new album, CTRL. He also shared a video for a new song called “No Refuge” earlier this year. RZA has previously provided soundtracks for the T.V. series “Afro Samurai” and his 2012 film The Man with the Iron Fists
