Watch Stephen Colbert Parody Beyoncé’s VMA Performance

Beyoncé was present at this year’s MTV Video Music Awards, performing tracks off her latest album Lemonade in addition to breaking the record for all-time VMA wins and winning the Video of the Year award for the “Formation” video. Last night on “The Late Show,” host Stephen Colbert parodied Beyoncé’s performance, overdubbing her voiceover narration and digitally inserting himself into the flaming hallway scene that kicked off the songs. Watch it go down below.

Fellow late night host James Corden also poked fun at the VMAs last night, editing himself into Kanye West’s new “Fade” video starring Teyana Taylor. Colbert mentioned the “Fade” video during his opening monologue, saying the video’s ending was akin to taking peyote and watching episodes of “Thundercats.”
