Weezer‘s Weezer (otherwise known as “The White Album”) will be self-released on April 1. The band is offering a “Weezer Experience Bundle” on their website, which promises a trip to the Galapagos Islands to go bird-watching and sightseeing with Rivers Cuomo. The bundle also includes two tickets to see them on their upcoming summer tour, a signed copy of the album, and the right of being named “King of the World” for a day. The cost of all this? A very modest $25,000.

The website notes: “You have to pay for Rivers on top of paying the band $25,000.”

One reason to doubt the package’s promises: It specifically notes that the Galapagos will be reached by Greyhound, and anyone with a basic sense of physics knows you can’t drive to an island. So, maybe this is one of those gag pre-order deals which won’t become reality until someone calls Weezer’s bluff (as happened with Run the Jewels’ cat-themed remix project, Meow the Jewels.) But unless you’re willing to drop a cool $25,000 (and whatever Cuomo costs), we’ll never know. Where’s an eccentric billionaire/Weezer fan when you need one?

Weezer’s last album was 2014′s Everything Will Be Alright in the End. Read our 5-10-15-20 interview with Rivers Cuomo.
