X's John Doe Shares "A Little Help" Video: Watch

X‘s John Doe has shared a video for the Chan Marshall-featuring song “A Little Help” from his recently released album The Westerner. Directed by Dave Doobinin, it splices black and white and color shots and features Doe driving through rural America. Watch the video below. Doe is currently on tour; find those dates below, too.

Doe spoke about the video in a statement:

There is beauty & simplicity in hard labor. Since the days of Woody Guthrie, farm worker rights have been an issue. The song was inspired by the timeless image of workers in the field which we in California see frequently. It was filmed by Dave Doobinin outside Salinas, CA; home of the John Steinbeck Museum. I wanted people to remember that every piece of fruit & every berry they eat was touched by a human hand.
