YACHT Selling Sex Tape After It Leaked Online

YACHT‘s Jona Bechtolt and Claire Evans revealed in a Facebook post today that they are selling their own sex tape, following the tape’s leak. The couple, “who have been romantic and artistic partners since 2006,” were dismayed when a video recording they made “intended for us only” ended up online, “due to a series of technological missteps and one morally abject person.” “We have commenced legal proceedings against the aforementioned person,” they wrote.

Shortly after their initial post about the tape, Bechtolt and Evans revealed their decision to begin legally selling the tape. “This video is out there now,” they wrote. “We can’t change that. But we can try to be ‘as YACHT as possible’ about it and take some kind of ownership over what has happened.”

On a newly-launched website dedicated to selling the tape, they wrote: “If you absolutely must see this video, we ask that you refrain from downloading it from a torrent, or streaming it on a tube site. Controlling how this video is seen, and who profits from it, is the only form of agency we have left over this exploitative situation.”

Below, read their posts explaining the situation, and their decision to sell the tape.
