Yo La Tengo, Sharon Van Etten, Julianna Barwick Playing Other Music Farewell Concert
On June 25, the Manhattan record store Other Music will shut its doors. On June 28 at Bowery Ballroom, several musicians will come together to wave goodbye to the institution, which has been in business at 15 E. 4th St. since 1995. The “Other Music Forever” farewell concert will feature performances from Yo La Tengo, Sharon Van Etten, Julianna Barwick, Frankie Cosmos, John Zorn’s Simulacrum, Helado Negro, and other special guests are set to perform.
