Animal Collective’s Deakin Shares New Song “Harpy (Blue)”: Listen

Last year, Animal Collective member Deakin (aka Josh Dibb) announced that he had designed a new shoe for Los Angeles vegan footwear company Keep, the second collaboration he’s done with the company. Today, Dibb has announced the shoe will ship with a special cassette single, “Harpy Sketches,” featuring two versions of a new song called “Harpy,” written and recorded by Deakin specifically for the Keep collaboration. Listen to the acoustic version, “Harpy (Blue),” below. (“Harpy (Red)” is the B-side.) The cassette single comes with a lyric sheet with illustrated artwork from Deakin. The new shoe is available now.
