Bill Murray and the Chicago Cubs Sing “Go Cubs Go” on “SNL”: Watch

Noted Chicago Cubs fanatic Bill Murray was joined by three members of the World Series winning team on last night’s “SNL.” Murray and Cubs players Anthony Rizzo, David Ross and Dexter Fowler appeared on the “Weekend Update” section of the show to perform Steve Goodman’s Cubs theme “Go Cubs Go,” while dressed as a barbershop quartet. You can watch their performance below.

In the lead-up to the Cubs’ Game 7 win against the Cleveland Indians, Murray sang “Take Me Out to the Ballgame” during the seventh-inning stretch of Game 3. During a Game 6 afterparty, Murray and Pearl Jam’s Eddie Vedder led a performance of the Band’s “The Weight.” In October, the Hood Internet mashed up “Go Cubs Go” with Chance the Rapper”s “No Problem.”
