Caribou Discusses His Favorite Songs on Pitchfork.tv's "Playlist"

Pitchfork.tv‘s “Playlist” is a series in which artists pick a list of favorite tracks and discuss what each one means to them. In this episode, Caribou‘s Dan Snaith chats about the instrumental of Lil Wayne’s “I’m Single” (because he can “do without Lil Wayne’s casual misogyny on this track”), Jai Paul’s “Jasmine”, Daft Punk’s “Emotion”, Jessy Lanza’s “Keep Moving”, Michael Boothman’s “What You Won’t do For Love”, and Jeannie Piersol’s “The Nest”.

Below, watch the full episode, featuring Snaith’s commentary, as well as clips of each song. Click on the links contained within the video to hear the full songs.

The first episode of “Playlist” featured Panda Bear, while the second featured How to Dress Well. Stay tuned for future episodes featuring Ariel Pink and Courtney Barnett.
