David Letterman Announces Final Guests, Including Tom Waits

“The Late Show with David Letterman” is in its final stretch. The show has now announced the guest list for its final 28 episodes, as Entertainment Weekly poins out.
From the music world, guests include Tom Waits, Elvis Costello, Emmylou Harris, Mumford and Sons, and more. This Wednesday’s show will feature Iron & Wine and Band of Horses’ Ben Bridwell.
Update: Waits will indeed perform and be interviewed on “The Late Show”. That episode will air May 14.
Other folks visiting Letterman one last time include Oprah Winfrey, Tom Hanks, Steve Martin, Scarlett Johansson, Tina Fey, and more.
Letterman’s final broadcast is on May 20. He will be succeeded by Stephen Colbert.
