Lady Gaga to Star in Bradley Cooper-Directed A Star Is Born Remake

Lady Gaga will star in Bradley Cooper’s A Star is Born remake, Deadline reports. She will also compose and perform new music for the film. Production begins early next year. Beyoncé was previously in talks to star in the film, but she dropped out due to scheduling conflicts. Cooper, who also stars in the film, will make his directorial debut. Gaga follows Judy Garland, Barbara Streisand, and Janet Gaynor, who all starred in different iterations of A Star is Born.
