Liam Gallagher Announces First-Ever Solo North American Show
Liam Gallagher is apparently gearing up to release a new solo album this year. Before he shares any of that new music, a handful of festival appearances have been announced. This week, he was announced as part of the Osheaga lineup, which marks the first time he’s announced a solo show in North America, his management confirms. (Gallagher, of course, performed around the continent with Oasis and Beady Eye.) Find Osheaga’s lineup poster below, as well as Liam’s current itinerary.
In an interview last year, Gallagher balked at the idea that he’s going solo. “I am not embarking on a solo ‘career,’” he said. “Everyone should know that. There are just 10, 11 songs I’ve written that are eligible to be recorded.”
