Megan Mullally’s Band Covers Gucci Mane’s “I Don’t Love Her”: Listen

Nancy And Beth is the new musical project from actors Megan Mullally (“Will & Grace,” “Parks & Recreation”) and Stephanie Hunt (“Friday Night Lights”). They just shared their cover of Gucci Mane’s 2011 track “I Don’t Love Her.” Listen to it below. After their cover of Wynonna Carr’s “Please Mr. Jailer,” this marks the second song the duo have shared from their forthcoming self-titled debut LP (out April 7). “I Don’t Love Her” originally appeared on Gucci’s 2011 album The Return of Mr. Zone 6.

“We are taking that idea of that old-fashioned entertainment that was so popular back in the day with musicals [like] Singin’ in the Rain, and we’re bringing it to this band with just a little bit more modern sensibility, and there’s kind of a wink involved,” Mullally told Rolling Stone about the collaboration. “We’re not taking ourselves completely seriously.” The duo will be embarking on a spring tour beginning in April.
