MGMT Reveal New Album Title in Behind-the-Scenes Teaser: Watch

A few days ago, MGMT confirmed that the follow-up to their 2013 self-titled album would be out this year, and that they’d perform new music from the project while on tour. After making good on one promise by debuting new songs at their first gig of 2017, they’ve shared the title of their forthcoming album. It’s called Little Dark Age. Watch a short “making of” teaser below, which features some behind-the-scenes footage shot during the album’s creation. Their ongoing tour continues through September; find the full itinerary here. Last year, the duo paid tribute to the late Alan Vega with a “Goodbye Darling” cover and appeared on the Flaming Lips’ Sgt. Pepper’s tribute album.
