Primal Scream Cancel Tour Dates Following Bobby Gillespie’s Accident

Last week, Primal Scream singer Bobby Gillespie fell from a seven-foot stage and injured his back during the band’s performance at Switzerland’s Caribana Festival. He was taken away on a stretcher and hospitalized, but suffered minor injuries, according to reports. Today, the band announced that they have been forced to cancel some upcoming European shows due to the accident. They explain, “Bobby has been instructed to rest for a minimum of 8 weeks.” See their tweet and new tour itinerary below.
