Prince and 3rdEyeGirl Performed an Eight-Minute Jam on "Saturday Night Live"

Last night, Prince returned to “Saturday Night Live”, his first appearance on the show since 2006. Instead of doing the traditional two-song performance, he delivered a jam in the middle of the show that last for over eight minutes and skipped the encore. He was joined by 3rdEyeGirl for three songs: “Clouds” (from Art Official Age), “Marz” (from PlectrumElectrum), and a new track called “Another Love”.

Chris Rock hosted the episode.

Last night, it was announced that Kendrick Lamar will return to “Saturday Night Live” as musical guest on November 15.
