The Microphones Announce New Album of Old Songs, Early Tapes, 1996-1998, Share “Compressor”: Listen

Phil Elverum has announced a new release from the MicrophonesEarly Years, 1996-1998 is a new album that is made up of songs that were written and recorded before any of the material the Microphones have released to date. Listen to one of the resurfaced songs, “Compressor,” below. The physical copy of the new album comes with “a poster with notes and reflections and context and lyrics and photos from the archives.” Pre-order the physical here, and digital copies via Bandcamp.
