Watch Stephen Malkmus and Spiral Stairs Perform Pavement Songs
Last night, Stephen Malkmus & the Jicks played at Scott Kannberg’s (Pavement’s guitarist who now performs as Spiral Stairs) 50th birthday celebration in San Francisco. During the concert, Malkmus and the Jicks joined Kannenberg for a performance of some Pavement songs. Below you can find video of the group playing “Summer Babe” and “Date With Ikea,” via Stereogum. Stephen Malkmus and the Jicks’ last album was 2015’s Wig Out at Jagbags.
