Watch Tim Kaine and Pusha T Campaign Together in Miami
Pusha T had already aligned himself with Hillary Clinton’s campaign. Today, he took his support to the next level—he campaigned at a Miami block party alongside Clinton’s running mate Senator Tim Kaine. Before Kaine spoke to the crowd gathered, Pusha delivered a speech from the bed of a pickup truck to introduce the vice presidential candidate. He stressed how important the election is for Florida residents (“You guys know the stakes are high for Miami especially, Florida”), and implored the crowd to vote for the Democratic ticket, saying, “When we do get into those polls, we have to think about what’s important for us, what’s important for the community, and we need to pick Clinton and Kaine.” Below, find footage from both Pusha and Kaine’s speeches.
Kaine—a fan of the Replacements, David Bowie, Alabama Shakes, and Lucy Dacus—recently dubbed himself “Lil Kaine” on a radio interview after listening to Lil Wayne’s verse on Chance the Rapper’s “No Problem.”
