Watch Weezer’s Rivers Cuomo Sing in Japanese for a Uniqlo Ad

Weezer frontman Rivers Cuomo and Scott Murphy of pop punk band Allister have filmed a Japanese commercial together for Uniqlo’s Steteco campaign. The ad features the musicians dressed for summer in Uniqlo menswear as they perform a Japanese folk song in front of a camper. This isn’t the first time Rivers and Scott have worked together in Japanese. They’ve released two LPs — 2013’s Scott & Rivers and this year’s Sony Music Japan release, ニマイメ— with lyrics almost entirely in the language.
