Whitney Houston Documentary Coming From Kurt and Courtney Director Nick Broomfield

Filmmaker Nick Broomfield is directing Whitney, a new Whitney Houston documentary coming to BBC Two. According to the network, Broomfield’s film will detail ”the forces that made and then destroyed the singer.” A release date has not been set. Broomfield’s most famous documentary, 1998′s Kurt and Courtney, detailed the relationship between Kurt Cobain and Courtney Love, with a particular focus on allegations that Love had played a role in Cobain’s death (claims which she has repeatedly, passionately refuted.) Broomfield faced legal action from Love over the film.
